New glossy global online property magazine launched

January 5, 2011

Wednesday January 05, 2011

Property Wire, the global property news information service, has today (Wednesday January 05, 2011) launched a new glossy magazine for readers around the world.

Titled Property Wire Confidential , it is a 16 page colour online magazine that is packed with information about the global real estate market.

‘The aim is to give buyers, sellers, and dreamers, real facts and information that they need to know wherever they might be thinking of investing,’ said editor Ray Clancy.

‘It fills a gap in the market as many property investors are no longer limited to buying in just one place. There are huge opportunities in emerging property markets, for example, but often not much information,’ she added.

The first edition has a four page ski special and a feature on why Chinese buyers like property in London. There is also a top tips section from a property expert in Brazil. ‘We use real people and real properties in the magazine. Ruban, our expert in South America, for example, actually works in the property industry and has lots of real estate contacts so the information is trustworthy,’ explained Clancy.

The Publishing Group believes it has identified a need for reliable information. ‘Our readers want a high standard of information and they don’t want to have to trawl the internet and the search engines to find it. Property Wire Confidential fulfils that need,’ added Clancy.

‘I believe that 2011 is going to be a great year for investing in property but those indulging need to do their research and get the kind of information that is not always available, or available at a hefty cost from consultants.’

Publisher Marco Callegari believes that it marks a new trend in terms of providing information this way online. ‘Property market publishing has been dominated by lead generation websites when what the consumer needs is cutting edge analysis and this is what Property Wire Confidential will provide,’ he said.

Initially the magazine will be sent out to The Publishing Group’s 60,000 registered readers and there are plans to expand in the near future, possibly to a print format. ‘We believe there is still a market for print in the real estate sector and we are currently undertaking research in this area,’ added Callegari.
